Improve cooling system performance with the DmaxStore High Flow Thermostat Kit, part number DMAX-TK-0116, designed for 2001–2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, or LML Duramax diesel engine.
These upgraded thermostats are a direct-fit replacement for the factory GM thermostats and are designed to begin opening at the same temperatures as the original components while opening faster and allowing increased coolant flow when additional cooling is needed.
The increased flow helps bring coolant temperatures down more quickly as temperatures rise, promotes more consistent operating temperatures, and can help reduce load on the water pump impeller.
This makes the DmaxStore High Flow Thermostat Kit an excellent replacement for high-mileage trucks, trucks experiencing elevated coolant temperatures, or during a water pump or complete cooling system service.
