Machined from stainless steel and made in the USA, the DMAX-ADP is designed as a direct replacement for the factory drain plug. Unlike the standard plug, it features a powerful built-in magnet that captures ferrous metal particles circulating in the engine oil, helping keep debris from continuing through the lubrication system.

The redesigned head also provides 62% more surface area for socket engagement, making the plug easier to grip during routine oil changes. An included O-ring provides a secure seal against the oil pan.

IMPORTANT 2026 FITMENT NOTE: 
Some late-2026 LZ0 Duramax engines received GM's new-design engine oil pan, which uses a different drain plug thread. DMAX-ADP will NOT fit engines equipped with the new-design oil pan.

If your vehicle has the updated oil pan/drain plug configuration, do not order this drain plug.
